Spooky Empire Retro Brings All the Horror to Orlando

Spooky Empire is returning to the Wyndham Orlando Resort for the 2017 edition of their Retro horror con the weekend of April 21-23.

Spooky Empire Retro will be headlined by a roster of celebrity guests that includes the legendary actors Malcolm McDowell and Joan Cusack, along with Dee Snider, frontman of Twisted Sister and the creative force behind the cult horror classic, Strangeland.

Iconic 80’s actors Ralph Macchio and C. Thomas Howell will also make a rare fan con appearance together.

From Rob Zombie’s Halloween films, meet Tyler Mane, Scout Taylor-Compton, Kristina Klebe, Daeg Faerch, and Hanna Hall. Then go back in time and meet The Monster Squad‘s Andre Gower and Ryan Lambert.

Also scheduled to appear are Stranger Thing‘s Noah Schnapp (Will) and Shannon Purser (Barb), Victoria Price (daughter of Vincent Price), Zach Galligan (Gremlins, Waxwork), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th VII, VIII & Jason X), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters), and the founder of Troma Films, Lloyd Kaufman, among others.

The event will kick off Friday with a Dia de los Muertos Pre Party & Processional, featuring make-up artists, and a walk over to the Wyndham in your sugar skull finest.


Weekend passes are $65 advance/$70 at the door. VIP weekend is $199 and available online only. Daily passes are $30 adv/$35 Friday and Sunday, and $35 adv/$45 Sunday.
