Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has partnered with Brewmaster Jerry Vietz of Canadian beer brand Unibroue for a new beer called À TOUT LE MONDE

Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has partnered with Brewmaster Jerry Vietz of Canadian beer brand Unibroue for a new beer called À TOUT LE MONDE. On October 21, Mustaine came to World of Beer’s UCF location to hold the launch party, that also happened to be his 55th birthday party.

I’m told À TOUT LE MONDE ale is a flavorful Belgian style dry hopped golden saison with hoppy and spicy notes. Vietz says of the brew: “To Megadeth’s delight and that of their fans and connoisseurs, we’re offering an uncompromising beer with rich hoppy aromas, created according to Dave’s personal tastes.”

You can see more photos from the launch at the Unibroue Facebook page for the event. You can also visit unibroue.com for information on the beer.

Konbini at East End Market will be closing this Monday, October 31. The owners are preparing to open Kadence, a sushi/omaske restaurant, in the former Winter Park Beer Co. space by January, so they are concentrating on that. I’m told a smaller version of Konbini will exist within Kadence for your Japanese convenience store needs.

Those craving an Asian fix at East End Market aren’t going to go home on an empty stomach though. Domu is opening in the space that formerly hosted Txokos in the next few weeks. They’re already in sneak peek stage, so watch the Domu Facebook page for more details.
