PDQ and 4 Rivers Smokehouse Collaborate on Sandwich for Charity

4 Rivers Smokehouse Sandwich at PDQ

4 Rivers Smokehouse, Florida’s award-winning barbecue restaurant, has teamed up with PDQ (People Dedicated to Quality), a quick-casual restaurant brand based in Tampa, to introduce a specialty chicken sandwich for charity.

4 Rivers’ Chef-Owner, John Rivers, created the chef-inspired sandwich with PDQ owners, Bob Basham and Nick Reader, to be served exclusively at 19 PDQ locations throughout North and Central Florida now through Oct. 31, 2016.

The 4 Rivers Smokehouse Sandwich features PDQ’s crispy, 100-percent natural chicken breast dipped in a blend of 4 Rivers signature and mustard barbecue sauces, topped with pepper jack cheese and Pederson’s Natural Farms cherry-smoked bacon, and served on a brioche bun with avocado herb sauce and shredded cabbage.

It costs $5.99, with one dollar from each sale of this sandwich benefiting the 4R Foundation, established in 2015 to advance the ministry and donation efforts of the 4R Restaurant Group.

Central Florida locations include Sanford, The Villages, and Lakeland. Visit eatPDQ.com for more information, and additional locations.
