Orlando Fringe Presents Winter Mini-Fest In January 2017

Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest

Are you one of the many sad by the fact that Orlando Fringe only comes once a year? Be sad no more, as the organizers are proud to announce a new Winter Mini-Fest that will take place in January 2017.

This new event will take place over one weekend, January 5 through 8, at venues within the Lowndes Shakespeare Center in Orlando.

Like the annual festival in May, the Winter Mini-Fest will be bringing in local artists to perform as well as artists from across the country and around the world.

Festival Producer Michael Marinaccio explains, “This is something that audiences and artists have been clamoring about for years. We finally felt, after getting through our 25th anniversary festival, that the time was right to make this happen.”

While the official schedule has yet to be released, The Orlando Fringe has stated that they will be updating their fans on their website, orlandofringe.org, and social media networks.

The Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival is the longest running Fringe in the United States. It is a member of the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals (CAFF), United States Association of Fringe Festivals (USAFF) and the World Fringe Network and follows the CAFF mandate to remain 100% unjuried, 100% uncensored, 100% accessible for artists and audiences alike, with 100% of ticket sales given back to the artists.
