Christner’s Cutting Board Dinner Series returns September 16 with a Jim Beam Bourbon Dinner. The interactive four-course small batch and single-barrel bourbon dinner will feature USDA Prime Bone-In Ribeye for the entree.

Cost is $125 per person (tax/gratuity included), and reservations can be made by calling 407.645.4443.

The Rusty Spoon is celebrating Bourbon Heritage Month with a special “Nose to Tail Dinner” on September 13. Cost is $75 per person. Call 407-401-8811 for reservations.

According to owner Trina Gregory-Propst, Se7enbites has closed their current space. But fear not, it is moving into a new space at 617 N. Primrose Dr in Orlando. A soft opening is planned for Saturday, September 17.

As we mentioned previously, Bad As’s Sandwich will open at Se7enbites’ former location at 207 N. Primrose Dr sometime this fall. Chef-owner John Collazo says he will also keep the food truck running.

The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen will open on September 22 at Universal CityWalk, next to Hard Rock Live. The menu is heavy on sweets and chocolate indulgences, but also offers burgers, sandwiches, and more so you can enjoy a full meal or just dessert. Check out this video for a taste of what to expect:

Orlando Cat Cafe has announced they will open today at 10am. They had a soft opening yesterday, but today is when you can actually interact with the adoptable felines as you enjoy a beverage. It’s located at Cagan’s Crossing in Clermont on Hwy 27, just north of Hwy 192 (in the Four Corners area).

Rainforest Cafe locations at Disney Springs and Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World are now offering Burgers & Brews Tuesdays. Enjoy any burger (except the Beastly Burger) and a glass of draft beer in a souvenir pilsner glass you get to keep. Price is $25 per person.

BB Junction in Winter Park is closing as of this Sunday, September 11. They made the announcement on their Facebook page:

Food blogger Scott Joseph reports that Hamburger Mary’s in downtown Orlando will be expanding. They will take over the space next door (which formerly had tenants like Church Street Tavern and The Dessert Lady) for a new concept called Mary’s Sidebar Cafe. They are planning on an October 1 opening.
