Taste of Pride Orlando 2016

As part of this year’s Orlando Pride, several chefs will come together for Taste of Pride on October 8. Participating chefs include Art Smith, Kathleen Blake, Cat Cora, Melissa Kelly, and Kevin Fonzo. Tickets are $150 per person, and following the event, guests will have prime viewing spots for the fireworks over Lake Eola.

Chef Joseph Burnett of The Osprey Tavern and Chef Austin Boyd of Seito Baldwin Park will host a one of a kind chef collaboration dinner, “East Meets West,” at The Osprey Tavern on Sunday, October 9th

The two will weave their styles of cuisine into one brilliant tasting menu paired with fine wines, sakes and spirits from both regions. Price is $150 per person (+ tax/gratuity). Call 407.960.7700 to book your seat.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Altamonte Springs is offering a limited-time menu item called Fuzzy’s Burrito Bowl, available through September 11, 2016.

It comes with your choice of of fajita-style chicken, beef, or veggies, nestled on a bed of cilantro-lime rice and black beans, all topped with guacamole, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, lettuce, cilantro, and a drizzle of spicy chimichurri sauce or fire-roasted salsa.

Joey Fatone announced on his social media accounts that Fat One’s Hot Dogs and Italian Ice will open September 10 at the Florida Mall. The grand opening event is open to the public and will run from 10am to 2pm. And yes, Fatone himself will be there to serve “Fat Ones” to the public.

Wildside BBQ Bar and Grille in Thornton Park has closed for good as of August 28. Taking over its spot is Graffiti Junktion, which currently resides two blocks down. Expect GJ to reopen in its new location sometime in September, after a renovation.

Peterbrooke Chocolatier of Winter Park is partnering with Hugz From Bugz for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. During the month of September, $1 from every #goldribbon chocolate butterfly and chocolate ribbon pop with the Hugz sticker will be donated.
