Hailee Steinfeld Comes to CFE Arena with Meghan Trainor Tour Sept 18

Hailee Steinfeld

Singer Hailee Steinfeld will perform at the CFE Arena on September 18, as one of the supporting acts for the Meghan Trainor Unforgettable tour.

If the name sounds familiar, it’s because she’s better known for her thespian skills. Her breakout role was as Mattie Ross in the 2010 film True Grit, for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She went on toΒ appear in other films like Ender’s Game, 3 Days to Kill, and the 2013 adaptation of Romeo & Juliet.

You may have also spotted her as the triplets in Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” video.

Steinfeld added singer to her resume when she appeared in Pitch Perfect 2, singing the lead on the song “Flashlight.” She signed a recording deal the same year with Republic Records, and has released several singles since.

Her first single, “Love Myself,” was RIAA-certified platinum-selling, which made history as the highest solo female artist debut on Top 40 radio since 1998. To date, the track is approaching nearly 200 million streams on Spotify, while the companion video has amassed 134 million views and counting.

In November 2015, Steinfeld released her debut EP, HAIZ, which reached #6 upon its debut on the iTunes Pop Chart. It was re-released in February 2016 to add the remix of “Rock Bottom” feat DNCE. Her latest single is “Starving” with Grey feat. Zedd.
