Happy Hour at Emeril's Orlando - Oysters

The Happy Hour at Emeril’s Orlando just got better, with the addition of $1 oysters. From 3-6pm daily, guests can enjoy fresh oysters for $1 each, in addition to the $5 small plates and half-priced beers and well drinks. Emeril’s is located at Universal Orlando CityWalk.

DoveCote is now open as of July 20. They’re located on the ground floor of the Bank of America building in downtown Orlando. The restaurant is a partnership between James and Julie Petrakis (owners of The Ravenous Pig, Cask & Larder, Swine & Sons), chef Clayton Miller, Gene Zimmerman (owner of The Courtesy craft cocktail lounge), and Cask & Larder head brewer Larry Foor.

World of Beer is offering a $5 Burgers & Brats promotion on Mondays. The Altamonte Springs, downtown Orlando, and Dr Phillips locations are offering it all day, but at the UCF location, it’s from 3pm to close. No word on how long the promotion will last, but pair it with their happy hour from 3-6pm and add on a discounted drink.

Spencer’s for Steaks and Chops at Hilton Orlando is hosting a Glenfiddich Scotch Pairing Dinner on Tuesday, August 9. The five course dinner will feature dishes like Diver Scallop, Lamb Loin, and a Dry Aged New York Steak, paired with Glenfiddich 12 Year through 21 Year scotch.

Cost is $78 per person, and the evening starts at 6:30pm. Visit thehiltonorlando.com for a full menu, and make reservations via Open Table.

Blue Bird Bake Shop in the Audubon Park Garden District of Orlando is celebrating its 6th Anniversary on Saturday, July 30. They will be offering $2 cupcakes, new flavors to try, and more. Visit the event’s Facebook page for more info.

Eddie V’s has launched its annual Sparkling Sounds of Summer event. The six-week series, which runs through August 28, features live music set to the themes of Jazz, R&B, and American Standards.

The event also includes five new $10 cocktails, including returning favorite the 24 Karat (Belvedere Vodka, Grand Marnier, Raspberries, Peach, Ferrari Brut Rosé and Gold Sugar Rim), along with a Seasonal Tastes Menu offering five shareable culinary creations for $6 each: Ahi Tuna Crudo, Heirloom Tomato Tartare, Eddie’s Oysters, Beef Tataki, and Salt and Pepper Shrimp.

Eddie V’s Orlando is located on Sand Lake Rd in Dr Phillips.
