Invictus Games Orlando 2016 - pool venue construction

Thing is, the ESPN venue didn’t have a pool, so two temporary ones were built for the games.

The pool venue includes a 50-meter, eight-lane pool for competition and a 25-meter, six-lane warm-up pool with seating for nearly 3,000. It took about a million gallons of water to fill both pools.

The construction took three-weeks, but Disney has compressed it into a 40-second video:

Pretty cool, huh? The swimming preliminary heats begin Saturday with the finals on Wednesday. Tickets are still available for these events, as well as the others, at invictusgames2016.org.
