Chris Botti & Joshua Bell to Play Dr Phillips Center June 11

Grammy Award-winning musicians Chris Botti and Joshua Bell will share the stage for one night at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on June 11.

Since the release of his 2004 critically acclaimed CD When I Fall In Love, Chris Botti has become the largest-selling American instrumental artist. His ongoing association with PBS led to four #1 jazz albums, as well as multiple Gold, Platinum and Grammy Awards. Learn more about him at chrisbotti.com.

Joining him is lauded violinist Joshua Bell, often referred to as “the poet of the violin” and considered “the greatest American violinist active today” (The Boston Herald). He has recorded numerous movie soundtracks, including the Oscar-winning score for The Red Violin, and more than 40 albums since his first recording at age 18. Having collaborated with A-listers including Wynton Marsalis, Josh Groban, and Placido Domingo, he has performed on every continent except Antartica and has all the prestigious accolades of a superstar classical musician. The show will feature the two acclaimed musicians crossing the boundaries of jazz, classical, rhythm and blues, and more. They will be backed by the outstanding Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Central Florida’s resident professional orchestra.
