Harbor House of Central Florida Hosts 6th Annual Paws for Peace Walk

The Paws for Peace Walk is a fun and leisurely stroll for families, friends, and their pets, to raise awareness about the impact of domestic abuse on pets and their owners.

Survivors often won’t leave an abusive relationship because they don’t have a safe place to go where they can bring their pets.

But in Central Florida, survivors can bring their pets with them to Harbor House. 100% of the proceeds from the walk will go to fund services of survivors and their pets staying in our Safe Short Term Housing.

This year’s walk will take place at Blue Jacket Park in Orlando, and participants are encouraged to walk with their pet(s). Can’t do the walk? You can still make a donation to help support the cause.
