Universal Orlando Raises Single Day Ticket Prices for 2016

This Wednesday, Universal Orlando raised its ticket prices for single day tickets to its theme parks.

A one-day single park ticket is now $105, up from $102. A park-to-park single day ticket is now $155, up from $147. Park-to-Park is needed for those wishing to ride the Howarts Express between the two Harry Potter lands.

Universal Orlando last raised its prices a year ago, in February 2015. At the time, they were still less than Disney’s Magic Kingdom one-day price of $105, but now it is the same.

No word if Disney plans to raise their prices, but SeaWorld Orlando recently told investors they do not plan to compete with the price increases of the other two parks.

Universal has a lot of upcoming attractions under construction, such as Skull Island, Fast & Furious: Supercharged, and Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon, as well as the Volcano Bay water park.

Do you feel the new prices are worth it or is Universal getting too expensive for you to go?
