Def Leppard Tour Comes to Orlando with Styx and Tesla at Amway Center Jan 30

***BREAKING NEWS: Tonight’s show at the Amway Center has been postponed due to illness in the band. As soon as we hear of a rescheduled date, we’ll let you know!***

Last year, Def Leppard went on a summer tour with fellow rockers STYX and Tesla that was supposed to end in October. But they had so much fun touring with each other, they picked up where they left off and will bring their tour to Orlando on January 30, for their only Central Florida show.

Def Leppard, comprised of Joe Elliott (vocals), Phil Collen (guitar), Rick “Sav” Savage (bass), Rick Allen (drums), and Vivian Campbell (guitar – he took over after the passing of original guitarist Steve Clark), have created an influential sound that has spanned almost 4 decades.

They’ve had numerous singles and multi-platinum albums, including two of the best-selling albums of all time: Pyromania and Hysteria. In 2015, they released their eleventh album, the self-titled Def Leppard, along with the first single, “Let’s Go,” which shows the band can still create the rock anthems their fans love. Their song “Undefeated” was also my anthem while I was fighting cancer a year ago. For more information, visit

STYX has also had a long four-plus decade career of innovative and influential music, albeit with a few line-up changes along the way. The current one features: Tommy Shaw (guitar/vocals), Lawrence Gowan (vocals/keyboard), James “JY” Young (guitar/vocals), Todd Sucherman (drums), Ricky Phillips (bass/guitar), and Chuck Panozzo (bass).

Since they formed in a Chicago basement in the 70’s, they’ve released 15 studio albums, six best-of compilations and four live albums, selling over 30 million albums worldwide. They’ve also garnered eight Top Ten singles, including “Come Sail Away,” “Babe,” “The Best of Times,” and “Mr. Roboto.” For more information, visit

Tesla formed in the early 80s and has toured often with Def Leppard. The band, currently comprised of Jeff Keith (vocals), Frank Hannon (guitar/vocals), Brian Wheat (bass/vocals), Troy Luccketta (drums), and Dave Rude (guitar – he replaced original guitarist Tommy Skeoch ten years ago), has been a favorite with rock fans with hits like “Litlle Suzi,” “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out),” “Love Song,” and their acoustic version of “Signs.”

They are multi-platinum selling artists, and they continue to release new albums, most recently 2014’s Simplicity. For more information, visit

This is a trio of great rock bands, and you can see them all in one night at the Amway Center in Orlando on January 30.

Tickets are $33.95 – $123.45 (plus tax/service fees) and are available at, at Ticketmaster, or at the venue box office.
