The Top Central Florida Air Shows for 2016

The temperate weather in Florida means we are blessed with air shows year-round, and if your family loves to be entertained by the friendly skies, 2016 has quite a few events worth checking out.

Here are the ones to add to your calendar:

March 11-13 – TICO Warbird Airshow at Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum in Titusville
Tickets: $18 adult/$5 child advance tickets
In addition to the many ground displays this thrilling three day AirShow will feature parachute jumps, simulated dog fights and over 40 aircraft from WW I, WW II, Korea and Vietnam and the modern era flying in formations and demonstrations. Visit for more info.

March 19-20 – Tampa Bay AirFest at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa
Admission is FREE to this air show which will feature an appearace by the Air Force Thunderbirds. Visit for more info.

April 2-3 – Melbourne Air & Space Show at Melbourne International Airport, Melbourne
Tickets: $16 adult/$10 child daily general admission; VIP & reserved starting at $49
This annual air show is fun for the whole family. They will also be hosting their first night time show on Friday night. Visit for tickets and more info.

April 5-10 – Sun ‘n Fun International Fly-In and Expo at Lakeland Airport, Lakeland
Tickets: $37 adult/$15 children age 11-17 daily; $150 adult/$60 children 11-17 weekly; children 10 and under are free

June 25-26 – Vero Beach Air Show at Vero Beach Regional Airport, Vero Beach
Tickets: $20 adult/$12 children 5-12 daily; $40 – $99 Reserved and Barnstormer packages
This weekend airshow will be highlighted by an appearance by the Blue Angels. Visit for more info.

October 8-9 – Embry-Riddle Wings and Waves Air Show at Daytona Pier, Daytona Beach
Tickets: TBA
The Air Force Blue Angels will appear during this 90th anniversary of the event. Visit for more info.
