Chef Miller is the first season winner of the U.S. version of Chef Gordon Ramsay’s hit TV series MasterChef. Her second cookbook, “Whitney Miller’s New Southern Table: My Favorite Family Recipes with a Modern Twist,” will be released October 27.

Drawing on her southern roots and international travels, Chef Miller will work alongside Chef Rivers on recipe development, seasonal menu changes and in-house guest facing events.

“The COOP has become a popular destination for southern-inspired breakfast, lunch and dinner,” said Chef Rivers, “in order to keep delighting our loyal guests with the exciting menu changes they deserve, I’ve found a very talented young chef who shares my beliefs and creative vision, who I know will continue to deliver fresh new ways to enjoy Southern comfort food.”

Chef Miller will make an appearance at The COOP’s booth at this weekend’s Cows ‘n Cabs, with her Mississippi Mud Pie, before leaving to embark on a short book tour. She’s expected to return to The COOP in November.

The COOP is based in Winter Park, and features southern comfort food classics made from scratch daily. For more information, visit
