East End Market Celebrates 2nd Anniversary October 30 – November 1, 2015

Orlando’s East End Market will be celebrating its two-year anniversary with three days of festivities that are inspired by the Halloween weekend, and Mexico’s Day of the Dead.

The anniversary celebration kicks off on Friday, October 30 with the Midnight Market. This after hours event runs from 9pm to midnight, and features authentic Mexican recipes throughout the evening, as well as a mariachi band, salsa dancers, and more.

The cost to attend is $42.60 (incl. tax), and includes 2 drink tickets for beer/wine/margarita (+1 free cocktail as you arrive) and then a plate/bowl/cup etc. of whatever each merchant is offering. The menus include a Pork Carne Asada taco bar from Houndstooth, and Mexican City soup with Chipotle Grilled Cheese sandwiches from La Femme du Fromage.

Then on October 31, East End Market hosts a Family Fiesta from noon to 5pm. the event includes an artisan market in the courtyard, trick-or-treat face painting, Mexican folk music, and more. It’s free to attend.

The anniversary celebration ends on November 1 with Día De La Musíca, a free event from 2-5pm featuring live music and food celebrating the Mexican culture.
