Orlando Shakespeare Theater Needs You For a Monty Python’s Spamalot “Sing-a-long”!

The Orlando Shakespeare Theater will be opening their 2015-2016 season with a rousing version of Monty Python’s SPAMALOT, and to help promote the production, they’re asking all of Central Florida to join in a massive sing-a-long.

Monty Python’s SPAMALOT

Last year, Orlando Shakes staged a flash mob to promote their production of Les Miserables that has received over 1 million views. They want to go even bigger this year.

It’s free to participate. Just show up at Loch Haven Park on Saturday, August 29, before noon and be ready to sing “The Bright Side of Life” en masse. Don’t know the song? Learn it via this video:

And they say pay attention to the last minute of the song.

Come dressed in comfortable clothes to move in, as everyone will be taught some basic movements. Extra points for anyone who wants to cosplay as someone or something from a Monty Python film.

All ages are welcome, but if you’re planning on attending, Orlando Shakes requests you register online at orlandoshakes.org/spamalotvideo, so they know how many people to expect. More information can be found at that link, too.

So come on Central Florida – find your inner Monty Python and come on out to make this video HUGE!
