Out and About: The Art of Beer at Artegon Marketplace

In addition to great shopping, Artegon Marketplace also hosts different events throughout the month. This week I checked out their monthly event, The Art of Beer.

The event is held the second Tuesday of each month, from 5pm to 8pm, and features free samples of beer, along with free bites to enjoy with the beer.

This month, Orlando Brewing featured three of its brews: Blonde Ale, Steamee Summer, and the one I went with, Eminent Domain Scottish Ale. And they weren’t the normal 3oz sample pours. They were a full cup of beer, which was nice to enjoy with the food.

That food was provided by one of the mall’s tennants, Fuddrucker’s, which offered up a full-sized beef or turkey burger with a side of fries, and toppings. All for free.

That’s right, I enjoyed a full-sized beer, burger and fries, and it even came with a side of free live music.

Afterwards, my friends and I took a walk around the mall with the rest of our beer and checked out all of the cool merchants they have. It was a really nice way to spend a weeknight evening.

If you want to check out The Art of Beer at Artegon Marketplace, the next one will be on August 11, and every second Tuesday after that. For more information, visit artegonmarketplace.com.
