Here in Orlando, we take our craft beer seriously, and with good reason. We have a wealth of great places serving, and even brewing, their own incredible craft beer selections.

American Craft Beer Week is an annual event that celebrates the craft beers brewed in this country. This year’s event starts today, May 11, and runs through May 17.

So if you’re looking for a place to celebrate American Craft Beer Week 2015 in Orlando, here are some events you might want to check out:

Orlando Brewing (1301 Atlanta Ave., Orlando) will be hosting events every day of this week:

Monday, May 11th @ 7pm: Drink n’ Think Trivia
Tuesday, May 12th @ 7pm: Anisocoria Barley Wine Ale Tasting; $15 per person
Wednesday, May 13th: Chocolate & Beer Pairing; $15 per person and available from 3pm to 10pm
Thursday, May 14th: New Local Taproom Art Show Release
Friday, May 15th @ 6pm: Beer Dinner with The bias palate; $50 per person
Saturday, May 16th @ 10am: Liquid Education Beer School; $25 per person
Saturday, 16th @ 1pm: Tapping of limited release D.A.S RyePA
Sunday, 17th @ 4pm: Orlando BrewCrafters meeting

Dr. Phillips: Monday – First Magnitude Brewery; Tuesday – Two Brothers Brewery; Wednesday – 5 Rabbit and Cigar City; Thursday – Goose Island; Friday – Lagunitas; Saturday – Terrapin

Lake Mary: They are taking down all 40 taps and putting up 40 Local Brews. New tappings every day with specialty kegs from Cigar City, Swamp Head, Green Bench and more.

UCF: Tuesday – Rogue Revolution; Friday – Colorado Tour

The Brass Tap (1632 N Mills Ave, Orlando) starts ACBW on Moday featuring Cigar City Brewing. They’ll have ten drafts on tap for the week. Thursday is Rogue Brewing Spotlight, and Friday is Boulevard Tapping featuring The Calling (a heavy hopped beer). Each draught purchased receives a raffle ticket to win a HUNAPHU Gift Basket! The drawing will be on Saturday, May 16th; the winner MUST be present to claim the prize.

The Hourglass Brewery (480 S. Ronald Reagan Blvd, Longwood) will begin selling their brews in bottles this week with the release of Schizandra, a bourbon barrel-aged Belgian Quad with notes of cherry and toffee, on Saturday, May 16.
