American Heart Association Hosts National Walking Day April 1 at Lake Eola Park #LaceUpOrlando

In an effort to get Central Florida healthier, the American Heart Association of Greater Orlando is hosting National Walking Day on April 1 at noon.

American Heart Association of Greater Orlando - National Walking Day

These days, we’re spending more time at work and sitting in front of a screen than ever before. We’re becoming less active, which can increase our risk of heart disease, stroke and other diseases.

To combat this, Central Florida is encouraged to lace up their sneakers and take 30 minutes out of their day to get up and walk.

The event will take place at Lake Eola Park, starting at the Amphitheater. For more information, or to register for this free event, visit heart.org.
