Walt Disney World Changes Holiday Castle Lighting Event with New Frozen Show for 2014

A Frozen Holiday Wish at Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World has announced they are introducing a new holiday show called “A Frozen Holiday Wish” that will replace “Cinderella’s Holiday Wish” for the 2014 holiday season at Magic Kingdom.

“A Frozen Holiday Wish” features Anna and Elsa in an all-new show on the Castle Forecourt Stage, with special appearances by mountain man Kristoff and everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf. Not much about the plot of the short show has been revealed, except that it will culminate in Queen Elsa using her powers to transform Cinderella Castle into an ice palace for the holidays. In the previous show, that was the job of the Fairy Godmother.

You can catch “A Frozen Holiday Wish” beginning November 5, and it will be presented nightly through December 31, 2014.

What do you think of this change? Are you looking forward to the new Frozen-themed show, or are you upset that Cinderella has been replaced?
