Orlando Shakespeare Theater presents The True Story of the Three Little Pigs from March 27 – April 27, 2014

The Orlando Shakespeare Theater in partnership with UCF presents The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, March 27 through April 27, at Lowndes Shakespeare Center at Loch Haven Park in Orlando.

The True Story of the Three Little PigsThis production offers audiences the opportunity to hear the wolf’s side of the story in this dynamite rock musical for the entire family.

Alexander T. Wolf (aka the Big Bad Wolf) is accused of deplorable crimes. Facing a jury of his piggy peers and a tough-as-nails judge with a weakness for musical theater, can the Wolf ever hope for a fair trial? The audience decides the ending of this play – guilty or not guilty?

Directed by Steve MacKinnon, this musical features actors Sophie Bell, Bridgette Hoover, Chris Metz, Jeffrey Todd Parrott, and Seth Wallen.

“We’re so excited to share this hilarious take on an old favorite,” said Director of Education Anne Hering. “Clever songs and snappy dialogue make The True Story of the Three Little Pigs enjoyable for all ages!”

Show are Tuesdays through Sundays during the run. Tickets are $9 for shows Tuesdays through Fridays, as well as preview shows on March 27 and 28. Tickets are $12 for shows on Saturdays and Sundays. All shows are morning or afternoon matinees.

Before the show, Orlando Shakes invites audiences to join members of the cast for interactive pre-show fun for the whole family. An autograph session will take place after each weekend performance.
