Florida’s own Less Than Jake will be returning to rock Orlando when they play the House of Blues on August 24, 2013.
Hailing from Gainesville, Less Than Jake – comprised of lyricist/drummer Vinnie Fiorello, vocalist/guitarist Chris DeMakes, vocalist/bassist Roger Manganelli, saxophonist Peter “JR” Wasilewski, and trombonist Buddy Schaub – formed over 20 years ago and are still going strong.
Following the 2012 reissue of the Fat classic Borders & Boundaries and the subsequent EP collection Greetings & Salutations, Less Than Jake has returned to Fat Wreck Chords, for their first full length of brand new material since 2008. The as-yet-untitled album will be released this fall.
In the meantime, fans can check out the band on tour, which is an area they excel at.
Tickets are $20 general admission (advance) and $22 day of. Opening will be Badfish – A Tribute to Sublime. This is an all ages show.
