Celebration Town Center‘s annual 4th of July event will be headed out of this world, as the town presents “A Sci-Fi 4th of July” for the first time ever on July 4, 2013.
The event will feature a movie themed costume contest (come dressed as your favorite sci-fi or superhero character), a synchronized fireworks spectacular set to a Sci-Fi themed soundtrack, bounce houses and other inflatable games for kids, and an unforgettable tribute to our veterans.
Those attending can also enjoy live music by Oliver’s Queen, Jordyn Kane, and DJ Tami. Gina Marie Incandela will perform the national anthem prior to the fireworks.
Celebrations start at 5:30pm, with the costume contest at 7:30pm. They expect it to end around 11pm.
“A Sci-Fi 4th of July” is free to attend, with free park-and-ride shuttle service starting at 5pm from 215 Celebration Place.
The event is sponsored in part by MegaCon, Melia Suites Hotel, The Celebration Town Tavern, Celebration Sanitation, Axis Magazine, The Orlando Sentinel and Sam Adams.
