Walt Disney World has announced that a new daytime parade, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, will start at Magic Kingdom in spring 2014.
The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will have floats inspired by the magical stories of New Fantasyland, which opened this year at the park.
This parade will specifically highlight the stories of “The Little Mermaid,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Dumbo,” “Pinocchio,” “Peter Pan,” “Tangled” and the Disney/Pixar film “Brave” among others.
There will also be new vibrant costumes, and an original soundtrack that will feature beloved songs from favorite Disney films, plus a new parade theme song.
No exact start date has been announced, but as soon as we hear one, we’ll let you know. It will replace the “Celebrate A Dream Come True” parade.
The parade is included with regular park admission to Magic Kingdom.
