If you’re a fan of women’s roller derby, then you’ll want to check out the season opener for the Orlando Area Derby Revolution, on April 14, 2013.
This team participates in full-contact women’s-only roller derby, and they are skater owned-and-operated. In addition, all proceeds from the games and fundraisers are used for league operating costs.
The OADR will be competing against the Thunder City Derby Sirens out of Deland, FL.
Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door (cash only). There is limited seating, so it’s recommended that you bring chairs.
The event takes place at Barber Park (3701 Gatlin Ave in Orlando) at 5pm.
