If you love canines, then you’ll definitely want to check out the upcoming Celebrate Dogs! event at the Orange County Convention Center on December 15 and 16.

Presented by The American Kennel Club and Eukanuba, the event is the largest celebration of dogs in the Unied States.
Among the competitions set for the weekend is the 12th Annual AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, where the world’s top canines vie for Best in Show honors, the title of National Champion, and a total of $225, 000 in prize money. Dogs will also compete in the AKC Agility Invitational, AKC National Obedience Invitational, and the Eukanuba World Challenge.
Dog lovers can participate in AKC Meet the Breeds, where more than 140 different breeds and their experts will be on hand to meet the public and answer questions. There will also be several shows featuring the athleticism of dogs, like Dock Dogs, Eukanuba Extreme Soccer Dogs, and Eukanuba Super Dogs.
There will even be a Canine Celebration vendor mall area with over 140 doggie boutiques to shop for Christmas gifts for friends and family.
Day tickets for Saturday or Sunday (from 8am to 5pm) are $20 for adults, with discounts for seniors ($15) and kids 2-12 ($5). Children under 2 and active military are free. Tickets for the evening events are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors.
