A Look at Splitsville Coming to Downtown Disney This Fall

This fall, an entertainment venue, Splitsville, will open at Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World.

Located in the two-story building that once held the Virgin Megastore, Splitsville will have 30 bowling lanes, billards tables and live entertainment. They will also have a second floor outdoor seating area and will serve food and beverages.

Last week, the official Disney blog released artist renderings of the renovated exterior and interior.

One of them shows the main floor entrance by the escalators. From the looks of it, one of the biggest differences is that the ceiling has been filled in.

When Virgin occupied the building, this section of ceiling was mainly catwalks that circled the building on the second floor. If you stood at the bottom of the escalators and looked up, you could see all the way up to the third floor ceiling.

Another shows the second floor near the escalators and it looks like interior walls have been removed to open up the area.

This location will be the largest of Splitsville’s five locations, with 50,000 square feet between the two floors of entertainment.
