It’s been 45 years since the National Organization for Women (NOW) was first founded, and the milestone will be marked by a series of free events sponsored by the Winter Park Institute at Rollins College.

It takes place this weekend and highlights include appearances by writer Gloria Steinem, former Congresswoman Patricia Schroeder, and Muriel Fox, a co-founder of NOW and Rollins College alumna.
An Evening with Gloria Steinem will be held on Friday, October 28, at 7:30pm at the Alfond Sports Center at Rollins College.
Saturday, October 29, Steinem and Schroeder will lead a few panel discussionz: “Still Moving That Mountain: Feminism, Past and Future” at 8:30am and “Our Journey to Equality” starting at 2pm, both at Keene Hall at Rollins College.
The weekend wraps up with a Saturday night performance of Guerrilla Girls on Tour! presents “Feminists are Funny” at Keene Hall.
