To be honest, there aren’t many good used book stores in the Orlando area (if you know of one, please let me know). That’s why I enjoy taking advantage of the seasonal book sales held by the Orlando Public Library.

This weekend is the Fall 2011 Book Sale and it will take place at the Friends of the Orange County Library System bookstore on the third floor of the Orlando Public Library branch downtown (101 E. Central Blvd).
During the sale, all books, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, etc., will be marked down at 50% off.
A private preview for Friends of OCLS members only will take place on Thursday, September 15, from 5-7pm. If you are not a member, you can sign up for $15 at the door, and membership also entitles you to an extra 10% off your purchase.
The sale continues Friday & Saturday, September 16 and 17, from 10am-5pm, and on Sunday, September 18, from 1:30-4:30pm.
