West Oaks Mall Hosts WomFest for Families on August 13, 2011

In conjunction with this week’s tax-free back-to-school shopping weekend, West Oaks Mall in Ocoee is hosting WomFest on Saturday, August 13.

What is WomFest? It’s a free music and fashion event for the whole family that will also spotlight local non-profits geared toward spreading the message of anti-bullying and anti-violence.

There will be performances by local hip-hop artists T.P. and Ease, along with local band Jullian and the Hearthrob Heroes, who will begin their second national tour with Disney this fall.

WomFest runs from 1-5pm in the Skylight Court near JC Penny’s, and all attendees will receive a complimentary movie pass to a special viewing of a feature film at the West Oaks Mall AMC Theaters 14 following the event, at 5pm. The press materials don’t say which film, but it will probably be a child-friendly one.

West Oaks Mall is located at 9401 W. Colonial Dr in Ocoee.
