To be honest, there aren’t many good used book stores in the Orlando area (if you know of one, please let me know). That’s why I enjoy taking advantage of the seasonal book sales held by the Orlando Public Library.

This weekend is the Spring Book Sale and it will take place at the Friends of the Orange County Library System bookstore on the third floor of the Orlando Public Library branch downtown (101 E. Central Blvd).
During the sale, all books, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, etc., will be marked down at 50% off.
A private preview for Friends of OCLS members only will take place on Thursday, May 19, from 5-7pm. If you are not a member, you can sign up for $15 at the door, and membership also entitles you to an extra 10% off your purchase.
The sale continues Friday & Saturday, May 20 and 21, from 10am-5pm, and on Sunday, May 22, from 1:30-4:30pm.
