Nothing goes together like kids and dinosaurs.
So grab up your youngin’s and bring them to the Orlando Science Center this Saturday, March 19, for the 5th Annual Fossil Fest.
See locally unearthed specimens from the Florida Fossil Hunters. Learn about the preservation methods used on the huge bones and teeth of various prehistoric wonders. Watch the giant screen spectacular, “Sea Monsters,” on the Dr. Phillips CineDome. Meet DEXTER the dinosaur from T-Rex at Downtown Disney. Make your own dino-crafts and play dinosaur-inspired games.
This one-day event is a celebration of dinosaurs, paleontology and everything that’s fantastic about fossils!
The event runs from 11am to 4pm. Admission to Fossil Fest is included in the Orlando Science Center general admission, which is $17 for adults and $12 for kids (ages 3-11). Parking is $5 additional per vehicle.
