Are you a fan of the uber-popular Twilight series of films? Based on the books by Stephanie Myers, the movie versions have won the hearts of fans worldwide.
This weekend, December 10-12, is a chance to meet up with other fans in Central Florida, as the Official Twilight Convention comes to town.
Among those that will appearing this weekend in panel Q&A’s, autograph sessions and photo ops are Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen), Alex Meraz (Paul), Chaske Spencer (Sam), Daniel Cudmore (Felix), Charlie Bewley (Volturi Tracker Demetri), and Booboo Stewart (Seth Clearwater).
Though there will be celebrities in attendance all three days, but from the online schedule, it looks like if you can only go one day, Saturday is that day.
I’ve been to other conventions held by this company, and I can tell you the general admission tickets ($20 on Friday; $25 each for Saturday or Sunday) are good enough for the casual fan. You get admission to all the celebrity panels and the vendor room. Autographs and photo ops are still available for an additional price and you only pay for the ones you want.
There are other passes available, but for the die-hard fans the top line Gold Weekend Pass is the one to get. For $259, you get reserved seating up front for all the panels, autographs from all of the celebrities, admission to the Volturi Vampire Ball, and more.
The event takes place at the Hilton Walt Disney World. For more information, visit the Twilight Convention website.
