Volusia County Fair Offers Family Fun

- Michelle Snow

Looking for something fun and low cost to do with the family this month? Head north to Deland and check out the Volusia County Fair.

The fair runs from November 4-14 and features the normal fair stuff: a midway of games and rides, animal displays and all the carnival food that is so bad for you but tastes so good.

There is also live entertainment, which is included in the gate admission. Enjoy special concerts by country artists John Michael Montgomery on November 5, Brenda Lee on November 9 and Jason Michael Carroll on November 13.

Admission is $8 per adult most days, with discounts available for children ages 6-12. Some days also have special discount promotions for admission. The full calendar of gate and ride prices can be found on the Volusia County Fair website.
