I love shopping at Park Ave CDs, and part of what makes the store so fun is they bring in musicians to perform from time to time.
Well, this weekend, they wrangled three bands to play for the customers at their main location.

Friday, September 3, check out Pennsylvania trio Good Old War at 4pm. I really like their folk rock melodies and the vocal harmonies. They’re playing the House of Blues later in the evening, but you can see them for free at Park Ave CDs.
Saturday, September 4, see Central Florida’s own Anberlin. The band will be celebrating the release of “Dark is the Way, Light is a Place” with a special acoustic performance and autograph signing. Pre-buy the new album and not only will you get priority entrance for the instore, but you’ll also get a copy of the limited edition CD/vinyl. It all starts at 3pm.
Sunday, September 5, enjoy an acoustic instore performance from the legendary Tegan + Sara. The store is expected to be at capacity for this one and all the wristbands have been given out. But if you’re really set on seeing this, there will be a standby line in case there is still room inside. There is no guarantee you’ll get in without a wristband, but it’s worth a try. Showtime is at 2:30pm. The duo will be playing the UCF Arena later in the evening if you can’t make the instore.
Park Ave CDs main store is at 2916 Corrine Dr and you can reach them by phone at 407-447-7275. They also have a store at UCF.
