Pinkberry to Open in Orlando August 20, 2010

With the current heatwave in Orlando, wouldn’t a frozen yogurt be tasty? Then you’ll want to head over to Dr. Phillips to check out the grand opening of Pinkberry.

A popular west coast chain, Pinkberry has made its way to the east coast with its first Florida location.

Pinkberry’s serves up several flavors, including Original, Pomegranate, Coconut, Chocolate and Mango. Watermelon is a current seasonal flavor. Once you pick a flavor, decide if you want it in a cup or cone, with wet or dry toppings. Or be truly adventurous and order a parfait make with Pinkberry yogurt, fresh fruit and granola.

A “Pinkberry Preview Party” will be held Thursday, Aug. 19, 6- 10 pm. The party is open to the public and will feature free Pinkberry frozen yogurt and toppings, as well as music, prizes, games and more. The grand opening will be Friday, August 20, at 11am.

The first 100 fans in line for the Thursday event and Friday grand opening will also receive Pinkberry t-shirts.

Local fans who want up-to-the minute news and discount offers should sign up to be a Pinkberry Groupie. The company can also be found on Facebook and at Twitter @pinkberryswirl.

Pinkberry is located at The Marketplace at Dr. Phillips, 7600 Dr. Phillips Blvd., on the corner of Dr. Phillips and Sandlake Rd.ย  Tampa and Miami locations to come soon.
