The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic will celebrate its eighth year October 27-28, 2017 with new dishes and themed areas.
This event will be the largest event to date featuring more than 60 food and beverage stations and 11 educational seminars taught by members of the resort’s award-winning food and beverage team.
October 2017 is an exciting month for Central Florida foodies, with special dinners and food festivals happening all month long.
In addition to the extension of Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month, many places are celebrating Oktoberfest and National Taco Day, as well.

Foodies get ready…the 2017 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival starts today at Walt Disney World, celebrating its 22nd year.
With 39 new dishes and 65 new cocktails and beverages, the annual festival features 35 marketplaces featuring food and beverage samples representing countries around the world.
With so many options, you’ll want to prepare by taking a look at the menus we posted earlier this month.
This year’s festival beer is the Florida Beer Company Passport 35 Triple Chocolate Milk Stout, which can be found at the Craft Beer marketplace. While there, try the cheeseburger and cheddar cheese macaroni handwich, a returning dish in honor of Epcot’s 35th anniversary.

It’s almost time for the 2017 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, and we have the full listing of food and beverage that will be available at the marketplaces.
Each marketplaces centers on a specific country, featuring dishes native to that country. There are also a couple of marketplaces that group food to a concept, allowing more latitude in the menu.
We don’t have prices to share, but based on recent years, most samples will cost between $3-$8 per item.

Loews Portofino Bay Hotel invites you to enjoy a springtime evening at Harbor Nights, a popular food and wine event, that will take place April 21, 2017.
During the evening, guests can enjoy unlimited samples of select wines, along with gourmet food (including desserts) prepared by the hotel’s award-winning culinary team. There will also be live music, along with a balcony performance by Portofino’s opera singers.
The ninth annual Downtown Food & Wine Fest will take place in downtown Orlando at Lake Eola Park the weekend of February 25 and 26, 2017.
The two-day fest features mouth-watering dishes from some of Orlando’s premier restaurants, as well as domestic and international wines to sample.
The date is almost upon us…Central Florida’s annual Cows ‘n Cabs is set to return for its sixth year on Saturday, October 22.
Break out your best cowboy attire or dress up, and sample food and drinks from more than 20 of Central Florida’s top restaurants.
The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic returns for its seventh year the weekend of Friday, October 28, and Saturday, October 29.
The Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic offers guests unlimited tastings at more than 40 stations featuring culinary selections from the hotel’s award-winning restaurants and wine from more than 30 wineries, centered around the hotel’s scenic causeway.

The Marketplaces and their menus have been released for the 21st Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, and you’re gonna want to come hungry.
Every year, Walt Disney World surrounds the World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot with a plethora of tasty treats, and this year is no different.
There will be 30 Marketplace kiosks serving up food samples from around the world, including Europe, Asia, Africa, Central and South America, and the South Pacific. There are also three Marketplaces that are new this year: Islands of the Caribbean, Chocolae Studio, and Wine and Dine Studio.

One of my favorite culinary events in Central Florida is the annual Orlando Taste of the Nation, which serves up great food in support of raising funds for the No Kid Hungry campaign.
Orlando Taste of the Nation returns for its 27th year on Saturday, August 27, and features over 40 of Central Florida’s best restaurants and chefs showcasing tasting portions of their best dishes.
