The Mills 50 district is normally a happening place, but on November 14, Music On Mills will turn the area into a gigantic music festival to benefit public art and safety projects in the area.
The music festival will take place in four venues: Will’s Pub, Wally’s, St. Matthew’s Tavern, and BART.
Local and regional music takes center stage during Music on Mills, this Saturday, October 18, beginning at 3pm.
Participating venues along Orlando’s Mills Avenue are The Bart, St. Matthews Tavern, The Peacock Room, Wally’s and Will’s Pub. There’s also an Art and Vendor Market, and several Food Trucks.
Entertainment lineup includes: 3 Bucksworth, Begali Goo, Hymn For Her, Milka, Mill Tess, The Hindu Cowboys, Juke With Special, Guest Eugene Snowden, The Sh-Booms, Meiuswe, Lauren Carder & The Multiple Me, Milk Carton Superstars, Table For Tree, Sabals, Wheeler Newman And The Cosmic Roots Collective, Tears of a Tyran, Uncle Sam’s Pride, Shrinks, Ark, Jcarly+The Teeth, Sara Purser, Daniel Hanson, Drew Yardis & More.
Tickets are $15, and are available online at willspub.org or day of at the venues. Must be 21+ to attend.
Want to check out a bunch of really good musicians? Then you’ll definitely want to head over to the Mills 50 District to take part in Mills-Stock ’11.
This area covers the businesses that are located near the intersection of Mills Ave and E. Colonial, just east of downtown.
During Mills-Stock ’11, Will’s Pub, Wally’s, Peacock Room, and Lou’s LGMA will offer up a full evening of local and import music for your listening pleasure.
It’s only $8 per night, which allows you to venue hop, but you really want to get the full weekend wristband, which only costs $15, and also gets you drink specials. Kudo’s to Yelp-Orlando for helping to put this together.
