Loews Portofino Bay Hotel invites you to enjoy a springtime evening at Harbor Nights, a popular food and wine event, that will take place April 21, 2017.
During the evening, guests can enjoy unlimited samples of select wines, along with gourmet food (including desserts) prepared by the hotel’s award-winning culinary team. There will also be live music, along with a balcony performance by Portofino’s opera singers.
Universal Orlando announced this week that they are partnering again with Loews Hotels to open Universal’s Aventura Hotel in the summer of 2018.
Universal’s Aventura Hotel will be the sixth hotel at Universal Orlando, and they say it is designed with the connected and value-savvy traveler in mind.
It was announced today that Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal Orlando will be getting an expansion.
Work will soon begin on two new towers at the south end of the property, near the Continental and Americana Towers. This will add an additional 400 guest rooms to the value resort.
In the summer of 2016, the new Loews Sapphire Falls Resort is set to open, and it will become the fifth resort on Universal Orlando property.
Featuring a Caribbean theme, the new hotel will be another partnership hotel between Universal and Loews Hotels & Resorts. It will be located next to the new Cabana Bay Beach Resort, which opened this year.
Inspired by the picturesque rivers and waterfalls of the Caribbean, Loews Sapphire Falls will offer 1,000 guest rooms and suites, along with amenities like a resort-style pool with a water slide, children’s play area, sand beach and fire pit, a full-service restaurant with scenic views and outdoor dining, a themed lobby lounge, poolside bar and grill, quick-service marketplace, valet service and a fitness center.
Guests staying at the hotel will also have access to Early Park Admission to Universal’s theme parks, and water taxi access to neighboring Loews Royal Pacific Resort and the Universal Parks and CityWalk.
Last year, we wrote about Universal Orlando‘s plan to build a new on-property resort called Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Last week, they released a teaser video about it.
Cabana Bay is an 1,800-room resort themed like the road motels of the 1950’s and 1960’s. It will be the “value” hotel for Universal Orlando, and it is situated next to the Royal Pacific Resort, across the street from Islands of Adventure.
Amenities will include a lazy river, two swimming pools, and bus service to the theme parks (no water shuttle, like the other three).
Cabana Bay Beach Resort is slated to open in first-quarter 2014.
