The COOP in Winter Park has added a new option to its menu. The Salad Bar includes offerings such as grilled chicken, fresh and flavorful dressings that are made in house, and various pre-made seasonal salads.
Cost is $9.99, and its available daily from 11am-2pm and from 5pm-close.

Chef John Rivers will be joined by Chef Greg Richie (of Soco Thorton Park and Baoery Asian Gastropub) for the next installment of The COOP‘s Chef Series on Wednesday, April 27.
The interactive demo will include Chef Richie’s Chicken Fried Steak with Truffled Pan Gravy and Chef Rivers’ Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding. Samples of the demo dishes will be served, and each guest will leave with recipe cards.

Marlow’s Tavern Waterford Lakes is debuting a new Sunday brunch menu from 11:30am to 3pm.
Noteworthy dishes include Traditional Chilaquiles (corn tortillas melted in roast ranchero sauce with three fried eggs, sour cream, vine ripe tomato, avocado, cilantro and smoked chili cream), Chicken & Waffles, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and The “Champagne” of Breakfasts (Fried chicken sliders, apple-wood smoked bacon, breakfast sausage, juevos rancheros and house-made hash browns, served on a silver platter with a fresh cracked, ice cold Miller High Life).

This Friday, October 30, The COOP will be hosting a cookie decorating event with new Chef de Cuisine Whitney Miller.
Guests will recieve a free DIY cookie decorating kit with the purchase of an entree. Inspired by the season, each cookie decorating kit will contain a pumpkin shaped cookie, frosting and toppings, such as sprinkles, crushed Oreos, and chocolate.
John Rivers, chef/owner of the nationally-acclaimed 4 Rivers Smokehouse and The COOP, has announced that Chef Whitney Miller will be joining The COOP as new Chef de Cuisine.
Chef Miller is the first season winner of the U.S. version of Chef Gordon Ramsay’s hit TV series MasterChef. Her second cookbook, “Whitney Miller’s New Southern Table: My Favorite Family Recipes with a Modern Twist,” will be released October 27.

Starting today, July 31, diners at 4 Rivers Smokehouse can top off their meal with a new item from The Sweet Shop: Chicken ‘N Waffle Cupcakes.
A nod to 4 Rivers sister concept eatery, The COOP, the dessert is a mixture of butter cake batter and waffle batter with fried chicken crispies folded in. The cupcake is then drizzled with house made bourbon maple glaze, frosted with maple butter cream and topped with a waffle cone wedge.

The COOP, the new Southern Comfort eatery from John Rivers, will open in Winter Park on Thursday, April 17.
The menu will feature signature Southern dishes like fried chicken, low country shrimp and grits, and fried green tomatoes, as well as sweets like Mississippi Mud and Lemon Icebox pies.
Rivers, who also owns the popular 4 Rivers Smokehouse, designed the restaurant to have a homey feel, from the main dining room to the enclosed porch. Outside dining is available on picnic tables under cantina lights.
