Multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated band Goo Goo Dolls are heading out for a summer tour that will include two Central Florida stops in Orlando and St. Augustine this month.

The band is touring in support of their newest release, Boxes, which hit stores May 2016. The lead single, “So Alive,” was the #1 most added song at Hot AC radio upon release.

Duran Duran to Bring Paper Gods Tour to Tampa and St. Augustine in Spring 2016

Multi-platinum superstars Duran Duran have announced that they will hit the road next year in support of their critically acclaimed album Paper Gods, and there are two Central Florida dates scheduled.

The band formed in Birmingham, England, in 1978, and were among the forefront of 80s bands who debuted along with MTV, which would play their videos in heavy rotation.

Day Trip to St. Augustine – Dinner at A1A Ale Works and a Bryan Adams Concert

This past Sunday, my friend Joan and I made a day trip up to St. Augustine. Our primary goal was to see one of our favorites, Bryan Adams, in concert at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, but we figured we’d go early and try out one of their restaurants.

We left around 2pm and got up there just before 4pm, slowed slightly by a thunderstorm en route. But as we rolled into the Historic Downtown area, it was sunny skies.

My connection at the St. Augustine CVB recommended A1A Ale Works as a restaurant to try, citing their craft brews and water-side dining. The restaurant is actually upstairs in a converted building on the corner next to the historic Bridge of Lions, with a bar area downstairs.
