Eat to the Beat Bands Revealed for 21st Epcot Food & Wine Festival

We’re still a few months off from the start of the 21st Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, but Walt Disney World has released the line-up for this year’s Eat to the Beat concert series.

The line-up is a great mix of 80s and 90s superstars. There are a lot of returning favorites, but there are also eight new ones playing the fest this year: Wang Chung, BoDeans, Plain White T’s, Jeffrey Osborne, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Living Colour, Soul Asylum, and Delta Rae.

Every month (except November and December), the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando hosts a concert series called Velvet Sessions, and October’s band was Soul Asylum.

Every month, except November and December, the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando hosts a live concert called Velvet Sessions. It’s a 21 and over event that features classic rock and pop artists performing in an intimate club-like atmosphere.

This month, Soul Asylum will be performing on Thursday, October 29. The band formed in Minneapolis, MN, in the early 80s, but hit it big in 1992 with the album Grave Dancers Union, which had the Grammy Award-winning single, “Runaway Train.”

Velvet Sessions at the Hard Rock Hotel Presents Soul Asylum for October 2012

Every month, except November and December, the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando hosts a live concert called Velvet Sessions. It’s a 21 and over event that features classic rock and pop artists performing in an intimate club-like atmosphere.

For October 2012, the band tapped to play is Soul Asylum. Their hit singles including “Misery,” “Somebody To Shove,” and “Black Gold.”

This month’s Velvet Sessions takes place on October 25, 2012.

Tickets are $29 in advance online or $35 at the door. This not only gets you in the door, but free specialty drinks, finger foods and warm-up tunes from 6:30 pm until show time. Complimentary valet parking is also included.

For $50, you can upgrade to VIP, which in addition to the above perks, gives you access to a special viewing area with a private bar serving those free specialty drinks all night.
