MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company, one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Central Florida, is hosting a free Margherita pizza event this weekend, May 5 to 7, 2017.
The Margherita is one of the restaurants most popular pizzas, featuring ingredients representing the Italian flag: basil (green) and mozzarella (white) on a bed of crushed tomato sauce (red).
Rock & Brews, owned by KISS frontmen Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, has opened its second Central Florida location this week, and we went to check it out.
It’s located in the new Lee Vista Promenade development, on Semoran Blvd, just north of Orlando International AIrport.
We got to sample several dishes at a media event, and they were all full of flavor and cooked fresh to order.
Rock & Brews, the rock-inspired restaurant brand co-founded by KISS frontmen Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, will open its second Central Florida location on April 24, 2017.
It will be located in the Lee Vista Promenade at 6897 South Semoran Blvd, in Orlando, near OIA. The 6500-sq-ft restaurant will offer the brand’s signature quality American comfort food with a California twist and two full bars stocked with the largest selection of international and craft beers in the area.
If you’re like me, nothing is more satisfying than a really good grilled cheese sandwich. Apparently so many others agree with me, April 12 has been declared National Grilled Cheese Day.
If you want to partake of a tasty grilled cheese in honor of the holiday, here are ten places in the Orlando area which have managed to elevate the sandwich above the norm.
Here are the CSO picks for where to celebrate National Grilled Cheese Day (in alphabetical order):
Don’t feel like cooking for the family this Easter? Not to worry…the Orlando area has many restaurants happy to do the cooking – and dishes – for you! There are also several Easter egg hunts and Bunny photo ops to be enjoyed with the family.
The popular Ace Cafe is expanding their brand and has chosen Orlando as the first North American location. We got a hard hat tour of the work-in-progress renovations of the downtown location last week, and it was impressive.
Ace Cafe Orlando is located on a three-acre block at the corner of W. Livingston St. and Garland Ave. (across from the Lynx station). It was originally the Harry P. Leu Building, and in the years since, has been home to The Edge and 8 Seconds night clubs, among others.
Planet Hollywood has been an iconic restaurant on Disney property since it opened, but many wondered if the recent remodel and revamp would change the great food and fun atmosphere.
It did…and for the better, in my opinion.
The finished version of the Planet Hollywood Observatory features three floors of seating inside, with a new outside screened terrace that offers a great view of Disney Springs.
If you’re looking for a fun place to have a family outing, or a girl’s night out…or any other gathering where you can eat, drink, and play, then you’ll want to check out Main Event Entertainment which opened recently at Pointe Orlando.
Foodstock Orlando is a new multi-day series of food events, live music, and more, and it takes place this week, March 1-4, 2017.
Each day has an event in a different location in Orlando, and each event will feature a separate line-up of food, beverage, and entertainment.
Paddlefish, a seafood-centric restaurant, is now open in The Landing at Disney Springs for your dining pleasure, and it’s definitely a don’t-miss place to eat.
Formerly known as Fulton’s Crab House, the restaurant has been completely revamped inside and out, taking on a contemporary interpretation of an elegant steamboat. The new design includes a variety of comfortable seating, large windows to enjoy the view of Disney Springs, and three floors for guests to enjoy, including a new rooftop deck on the third floor.
If you’re a foodie, Chroma Modern Bar + Kitchen has been on your radar. If it isn’t, let me tell you why it should be on your list.
We visited Chroma, which is located in Lake Nona, for dinner on a Thursday night, and after seating us, the server told us the restaurant offers small plates to share, and he recommended ordering 2-3 dishes per person.
As soon as I walked into Midici , the fragrant aroma of pizza hit me…and it smelled so good!
Midici specializes in Neapolitan pizza, made the traditional Italian way, with many ingredients actually imported from Italy.
