Rock & Brews, the rock-inspired restaurant brand co-founded by KISS frontmen Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, will open its second Central Florida location on April 24, 2017.
It will be located in the Lee Vista Promenade at 6897 South Semoran Blvd, in Orlando, near OIA. The 6500-sq-ft restaurant will offer the brand’s signature quality American comfort food with a California twist and two full bars stocked with the largest selection of international and craft beers in the area.
At a press conference under The Orlando Eye, the organizers of the upcoming Moonstone Music Festival took to the stage to announce the headliners for this new festival coming to Orlando April 30 and May 1, 2016.
It’s a one-two Classic Rock punch as KISS and Def Leppard were announced as the top headliners for the festival, which will take place at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. KISS will be there Saturday and Def Leppardd will close out Sunday.
Late nights are the right time to visit Rock and Brews Oviedo to catch their Rockin’ Summer Concert Series, happening through July 16, 2015.
Showcasing some of the greatest festivals and events in rock music history, the restaurant will feature a new playlist each night, highlighting acts from such legendary festivals and concerts as Woodstock, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Live Aid, and more from 9pm until close.
KISS front men Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have announced they will host the grand opening of their Rock & Brews Oviedo restaurant on January 6, with proceeds going to charity.
The grand opening festivities will consist of a midday luncheon for more than 100 wounded warriors, veterans and active duty military personnel, as well as a public meet & greet event with Simmons & Stanley from 2-4pm.
Tickets to the meet & greet are $200 per person and include two adult beverages per person or unlimited soft drinks, a sampling of Rock & Brews cuisine, and a photo opportunity with Stanley and Simmons. A percentage of proceeds, not less than $10,000, will benefit the Orlando VA Medical Center’s new Fisher House in Lake Nona.

The Rock & Brews Oviedo restaurant will be located at 7131 Red Bug Lake Rd. It will feature the brand’s American comfort food menu (burgers, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, etc), and a full bar that includes one of the area’s largest selections of international and local craft beers and premium wines.
The almost 7,500-sq-ft venue will have a family-friendly, rock-inspired environment including multiple TV screens and a state-of-the-art sound system broadcasting some of the greatest concert moments in rock history. Decor will include murals, canvas art of iconic rock images, and something they call their signature Great Wall of Rock.
It was announced this week that ArenaBowl XXVI would be held at the Amway Center in Orlando on August 17, 2013. It will be the highlight of a three-night event that will include a concert by the legendary rock group KISS.
The ArenaBowl is the Arena Football League’s (AFL) annual Championship game pitting the winner of the American Conference versus the winner of the National Conference, and it will air live on CBS starting at 1pm.
According to VisitOrlando, the game will be part of a weekend celebration centered around AFL events.
Thursday, August 15 – The Annual ArenaBall and Award ceremony honoring the offensive MVP, defensive MVP, AFL player of the year along with other team and organizational awards.
Friday, August 16 – KISS will kick off their Monster World Tour with a concert at the Amway Center.
Saturday, August 17 – Arena Bowl XXVI at Amway Center.
Further details, such as ticket prices, haven’t been announced yet.
The only thing that would make this news better is if the Orlando Predators is one of the teams competing in ArenaBowl XXVI.
