Highball & Harvest has started serving Sunday Brunch. Located at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando at Grande Lakes, the brunch menu will change weekly, with the exception of some perennial favorites. Sourced from area farms and the resort’s own 7,000-square-foot garden, these include Southern comfort food like Smoked Pork Eggs Benedict with BBQ Hollandaise and Pecan-Smoked Bacon and Country Potatoes.

STK Orlando recently opened at Disney Springs, and is the only one to offer a lunch seating. The other locations in the brand are only open for dinner.

Created by Executive Chef James O’Donnell, the menu at lunch features many of the dishes found on the dinner menu, such as a variety of steaks, Free Range Chicken, and Florida grouper.

James and Julie Petrakis (The Ravenous Pig, Cask & Larder) dropped two newsworthy bits of information last week.

First they will be opening a new eatery next year at Disney Springs called the Polite Pig. They are partnering with James’ brother Brian (Greens & Grille) for this fast casual restaurant that will serve wood-fired smoked and grilled items – think sandwiches and salads – as well as a full drink menu that will include beer brewed at Cask & Larder.

He’s made a name in the music world as a member of ‘NSync, and hosted several TV shows. Now Joey Fatone launching a hot dog cart at Florida Mall‘s dining pavilion.

Called Fat One’s Hot Dogs and Italian Ice, it will open this fall and feature menu items with playful names like “The Boybander” and “The Gone Hollywood.” Even the business name is a play on Fatone’s name.

STK Orlando Grand Opening Party at Disney Springs

STK Orlando has officially opened its doors at Disney Springs, and on Tuesday night, CitySurfing Orlando was invited to the Grand Opening Party.

This location, the 11th for the brand, is the largest with over 14,000-sq-ft. and seating on two levels. the first floor features a lounge area, bar, a seated dining area, and a private dining room that can seat 12. Lighting is dim, and a DJ is stationed here, too.
