Entertainment Book Offers Savings on Dining and More in Orlando

Whether you live in Orlando or just visiting, using the coupons in the Entertainment Book can save you money on things like dining, entertainment, and more.

Orlando Entertainment BookI received a copy of the 2014 Orlando Entertainment Book to try out, and I’d have to give it a big thumbs up.

The book had coupons for all over Orlando, including the theme park areas, and using it was very easy. Just tear out the coupon and present it to the business (when ordering at restaurants or at the register when paying for non-restaurant coupons).

A lot of the coupons are “buy one-get one free” coupons, so it’s very easy to rack up the savings. Dining coupons include everything from fine dining to fast food. Entertainment coupons in the Orlando book include attractions like Fun Spot, movie theaters, mini-golf, and sports. There are also travel coupons and discounts, car rental coupons, and coupons for shopping online and in person.

The book normally costs $35, but it includes digital access to coupons online, as well. There is also a digital only version for $19.99. Sometimes there are also online deals on book purchases, so check the site.

The 2014 Entertainment Book is good through December 2014, so if you buy now, you’ll have more than a year to use the coupons.

For more information, or to purchase a book or digital membership, visit EntertainmentBook.com.

Still Time to Enjoy Orlando Restaurant Week Menus Through May 31

orlrestaurantweekOrlando Restaurant Week is a great way to get out and try some new restaurants, while making less of a dent in your wallet. Unfortunately, there is only a little over a week to take advantage of this promotion, as it ends May 31, 2013.

Basically each participating restaurant is offering up a set menu at a special price, ranging from $10 to $35 per person. Depending on the restaurant, you can find a menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Some are offering for more than one meal.

One place I recommend checking out is the new Hash House A Go Go on International Drive. They have menus for all three meals, starting at only $10. You can also enjoy lunch at B&B Junction (a starter, a burger, and a soda or iced tea) for only $10. Dinner there is $5 more, but you also get a dessert and you can even drink a draft beer with your meal price.

Many restaurants around the Orlando area are participating, so grab some friends and enjoy a meal out while the promotion is still on. For more information, visit OrlandoRestaurantWeek.com.

Orlando “Restaurant Week” Takes Place Entire Month of May 2013 #owrw2013

orlrestaurantweekIt’s that time of year for the annual “restaurant week” in Orlando, which happens to run the entire month of May 2013.

Presented by the Orlando Weekly, Orlando Restaurant Week runs from May 1-31, and offers great ways to enjoy dining out at a special price.

The restaurants participating are offering up prix fixe menus (meaning set menus) of 2 courses for breakfast/lunch, or 3 courses for dinner, at prices ranging from $10 to $35 per person.

Among the restaurants included in this promotion are chain eateries like Hash House a Go Go, Marlow’s Tavern, and BB King’s Restaurant & Blues Club. There are Universal Orlando places like The Kitchen at the Hard Rock and Islands at Loews Royal Pacific. Local favorites like Funky Monkey Wine Company (both locations), Nick’s Italian Kitchen, Matilda’s on Park, and Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine are also taking part.

Today’s Orlando Groupon Deal: CRAVE Restaurant

Every day, the Groupon site offers great deals to area attractions, restaurants and shopping.

Today’s Groupon is one I had to jump on – and I think you will, too!  It’s 50% off a $30 certificate to CRAVE restaurant by the Mall at Millennia.

That’s right, get $30 of delicious food for only $15.

I’m going to use mine to try out their Monday only special burgers and shakes menu, but even the regular menu has a ton of great dishes to try. I’ve also been told they do fantastic sushi.

Don’t forget they also have a daily happy hour with some great food specials in the bar area.

Want to get in on this deal? Head over to the Groupon website and start shopping.

This is also something that would also make a great Christmas present (and they don’t have to know you didn’t pay full price!).
