It’s the heart of summer here in Central Florida, but over at Disney Springs, it’s Christmas in July starting today until the end of the month.
Until July 30, there will be special holiday-themed treats, merchandise and entertainment offerings throughout Disney Springs.
Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF cools down this summer with “Christmas in July” on Friday, July 25.
During the single-day promotion, the Theater will offer $25 tickets for all seats to select performances of “A Christmas Carol,” playing December 3 – 28, 2014.
Orlando Shakes’ annual “Christmas in July” promotion celebrates the Theater’s commitment to providing affordable theatrical experiences to patrons of all ages. On Friday, July 25 from 12:00am to 11:59pm, all seats to the following performances of “A Christmas Carol” are just $25 each: December 18, 19, & 20 (7:30pm); December 21 (2pm); December 23, 24, 26, & 27 (7:30pm); and December 28 (2pm). Regularly priced single tickets for A and B level seating are $45 and $35 respectively.
Discounted tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office (407) 447-1700 ext. 1, online at orlandoshakes.org using the code word July25, or in person at the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center (812 East Rollins Street).
The Orlando Shakespeare Theater will be offering up $25 tickets to its three Signature Series shows this fall, but you must buy them July 25, 26 and 27, 2013.
During this three-day “Christmas in July” promotion, celebrating the OST’s 25th anniversary season all seats for these three shows will be $25 a person (regular price is $20-$40, depending on the location of the seats).
OST’s fall Signature Series offerings include the Shakespearean comedy, The Taming of the Shrew (Sept. 11-Oct. 6); the gothic thriller, Dracula: The Journal of Jonathan Harker (Oct. 9-Nov. 10); and the holiday classic, It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play (Dec. 4-29).
The OST box office is open from noon to 5pm each day. Once tickets are purchased, there will be no exchanges or refunds for these specially priced tickets.

This week, guests at Walt Disney World are enjoying Long-Lost Friends Week at Magic Kingdom, but starting July 22, they’ll be able to celebrate Christmas in July.
Stop by Ye Old Christmas Shop in Magic Kingdom park, as well as Disney Days of Christmas at Downtown Disney area, where you can find all-new, magical ear hat ornaments.
There will also be sweet holiday-inspired treats for guests to enjoy at Magic Kingdom. Enjoy a Santa Mickey Demitasse dessert at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant, holiday cupcakes at the Main Street Bakery, and gingerbread sundaes at the Cone Shop.
This Limited Time Magic event runs through July 28, and is included with regular park admission.
