Tron Coaster Coming to Magic Kingdom in 2021

Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, announced at D23 this weekend that a Tron-themed attraction will be coming to Magic Kingdom‘s Tomorrowland.

Set to open during Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021, the TRON Lightcycle Power Run is a coaster-style attraction where riders board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles, similar to the cycle game from the original movie.

The D23 news is flying fast and furious, and word comes that a new space-themed restaurant will be coming to Epcot.

It will be located adjacent to the park’s Mission: SPACE attraction, according to Disney. Perhaps it will occupy the space where the Wonders of Life building currently sits mostly unused, but that wasn’t clarified during the D23 reveal by Walt Disney Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald.

There are plenty of places in Central Florida to catch a 4th of July fireworks show, but if you don’t want to leave the house, Disney has you covered.

Tonight, on the 4th of July, Disney Parks will live stream “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” fireworks from the Magic Kingdom.

The special holiday show features a sky full of fireworks over Cinderella’s Castle, choreographed to patriotic music.

The broadcast will also feature some special behind-the-scenes looks at the show and more.

How to Watch:

The live stream will begin at 8:55pm ET at the Disney Parks Official Blog. A fresh blog post containing the live stream will be at the top of the blog.

These free live streams are a lot of fun to watch, and bring the Disney park experience to you wherever you are.

Eat To The Beat Bands Revealed For 2017 Epcot Food & Wine Festival

We’re still a few months off from the start of the 2017 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, but Walt Disney World has released the line-up for this year’s Eat to the Beat concert series.

The line-up is a great mix of 80s, 90s, and early 2000’s superstars. There are a lot of returning favorites, but there are also ten new ones playing the fest this year: The Hooters, Baha Men, Lauren Alaina, American Authors, Devon Allman, Postmodern Jukebox, 10,000 Maniacs, Kenny G, Blue October, and Squeeze.
