Theme Park Closures for Hurricane Irma

A list of Central Florida theme park closures for Hurricane Irma.

In advance of Hurricane Irma, Central Florida theme parks aren’t taking any chances. Here is the list of closures for the major area theme parks:

Walt Disney World

Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Closing Saturday at 7pm through Monday. The Saturday “Rivers of Light” performance is cancelled.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Closing Saturday at 7pm through Monday. The Saturday “Fantasmic” and “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” performances are cancelled.

Epcot: Closing Saturday at 9pm through Monday. The Saturday “Illuminations” performance is cancelled.

Magic Kingdom: Closing Saturday at 9pm through Monday. The Saturday “Happily Ever After Fireworks” performance is cancelled. “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party” for Sunday cancelled (tickets may be rescheduled or refunded).

Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks: Closing Saturday at 5pm through Monday.

ESPN Wide World of Sports: Closed Saturday through Monday. “Night of Joy” for Saturday night cancelled.

Disney Springs: Closing Saturday at 9pm through Monday.

All Universal Orlando parks and CityWalk closing 7pm tonight through Monday night.

Rock the Universe” for Saturday night cancelled.

SeaWorld Orlando: Closing 5pm tongiht through Monday.

Aquatica: closed today through Monday.

Discovery Cove: closed Sunday and Monday.

LEGOLAND Florida

LEGOLAND Florida theme park and water park: Closing today through Monday.

LEGOLAND Hotel will remain open to admit arriving guests with reservations. LEGOLAND Beach Retreat guests will be relocated to LEGOLAND Hotel.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island 

Busch Gardens: Closing 5pm Saturday through Monday.

Adventure Island: Closed Saturday through Monday.
